As we excitedly approach our move date, I wanted to say once again how grateful Tony and I are for your patience, kindness, friendship and thoughtful professional insights. It has been an absolute pleasure working with you!

I'll always remember our first meeting back in January. We were just beginning our search and, after being out of the market for five years, had no idea how volatile the market was (or would become). You gave us great advice and, most significantly, introduced us to a fabulous mortgage broker who worked miracles in an impossible market.

As our house hunt dragged on into the summer, you never lost your enthusiasm or your sense of humor. When we finally found the house on Coldwater, you were instrumental in getting us an early showing and, as a result, a chance to bid first. There's no doubt that we wouldn't have had a chance after the open house.

As if finding the house weren't enough, you provided us with yet another set of flawless referrals including the escrow company and an army of outstanding home inspectors. You held our hands during the entire process, answered every question immediately, monitored all of the paperwork and somehow kept tabs on all of those crazy sellers!

We've bought and sold numerous properties over the years and can honestly say that this was the best and most enjoyable process we've ever experienced. Your integrity, professionalism, emotional intelligence and attention to detail are unique and greatly appreciated. Dear Clemens,

Sitting at the beach in Hawaii, thinking of you and knowing that Jamie and I finally found our dream home, I thought I had to write this letter to express our appreciation.

For the past 5 years, we have been looking with different real estate agents, unfortunately not one of them was witty and patient enough to know what our criteria was and finally we met you (Jamie calls you the Terminator !). At first, I was a little skeptical about you, assumingly all realtors are the same (promises to work hard, email and follow up) then we ended up doing our own homework anyway, but your reliability, mannerism and professionalism caught my attention.

We were very fortunate to have worked with a realtor who cares deeply and passionately about his work and clients. You did your research and went to many open homes with us, with pleasure. As a first time home buyer, the escrow process was very stressful, but you were very patient and helped us through the process beautifully and professionally. We could not have asked for a better agent and in my opinion you´re the best. We could even joke with you about everything, which made the whole long process enjoyable. I am glad that we formed a friendship out of a business relationship.

It has been a long journey to find our nest, but it was worth every step of the way. The house has not been renovated yet, but every one that visits really gasps and loves it.

We are looking forward to doing business with you in the future, if the adjacent property is still for sale. When our home´s renovation is done, you have to come over for a BBQ. Andrew always asks "Are we going to Clemens house?" where he saw so much of you.

We went through many different realtors and ALMOST gave up before finding Clemens Mandell. It´s a good thing we didn´t give up because Clemens was incredible.

Clemens was our real estate agent during our process of buying a house on the west side of Los Angeles. Clemens' general experience, professionalism, and earnest interest in helping us were evident throughout the house-buying process and we would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. He knew what to look for (and look out for) when looking at houses in person. (E.g. "This drainage setup will result in water damage in the long run," or "The good condition of the shingles along the ridge indicate that this roof was replaced relatively recently.") He was unfailingly realistic throughout the process, being helpfully blunt about problems with houses and shying us away from inadvisable homes or homes that he knew would be bid up well outside of our price range. He seemed very skilled at chatting with the other agents and getting an excellent feeling for the amount of demand on a house and other pertinent facts about the sale. He was always very cheerful and enthusiastic and came with us to look at many, many houses on the weekends throughout the months we were looking. He knew both when to temper our over-enthusiasm as well as cheer us up and keep us positive after setbacks. When we were over enamored with one particular house, he talked us down from jumping in and glossing over glaring shortcomings of the house, even though it would have arguably been in his immediate financial interest to let us run wild. It was during the bidding process that we found Clemens to be the most indispensable. He had a very firm grip on the values of various properties and knew what to bid on various rounds to ensure that we had a good chance at the property. As we found out later from the opposing agent and the appraisal, on the property that we ended up winning, he correctly predicted the runner-up bid to within a few thousand dollars. Clemens was also very helpful during the escrow phase of the process. He was very happy to coordinate the inspections, talk with the loan officer, and generally make sure that everything was on the right track to close. We ended up finishing with a few days to spare, actually. In the end, we are very glad to have had someone unambiguously on our side to guide us through the entire process. We are very happy with how things turned out and we would not hesitate to use Clemens again for any real estate needs as well as recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, professional, and extremely helpful real estate agent.

I cannot recommend Clemens highly enough.
