Having worked in Real Estate for over 14 years,
I can understand why the public sometimes views people in the Real Estate business as a
‘necessary evil.

From questionable negotiation tactics to a lack of sensitivity in protecting their clients’ interest, agents surprisingly often lack proper training and display little accountability. 

Working with a real estate agent in pursuing your Real Estate goals should not be a painful process! I would like to address some of the most worrisome concerns: 

1.  Agents are self-serving and pushyThey move quickly towards a deal, regardless if it’s the best deal for their clients.  They are not listening to their clients, offering them something they don’t want or need.

2.  Top Agents hand their clients off to a ‘team member’ as soon as the agreement is signed, leaving them without the expertise and attention of the Professional they had hoped to work with.

3.  Agents don’t fully understand the purchase contracts and how they can use those forms to protect their clients! They overlook crucial details in the paperwork, exposing their clients to liability and financial loss.

The list above makes it clear why the process is wrought with anxiety!
Here is how I differ:

1.  While it is against my nature to throw around exaggerated claims of grandeur and awesomeness, my value becomes apparent once I start marketing your house or negotiating on your next home! While I believe in treating everyone with respect, my singular goal is to maximize your bottom line!  I’ll give my clients choices, will state my opinion and discuss the pros and cons of one action versus another. That way, you can make informed decisions. I have one mouth and two ears. I use them accordingly. Often, it’s the things that are not being said that drive decisions

2.  Giving you competent guidance and immediate feedback is crucially important to me, which is why I complete the process from beginning to end.  When I commit to a client, I do not hand them off to others on my team. 

3.  Smart use of timelines and contingencies combined with attention to detail and a thorough understanding of the buying/selling process ensure the best outcome for you!
 

BUYING OR SELLING A HOME is already a very emotional process, and the last thing you should be worried about is trusting your Realtor.
